Weekend at Paca's

We've had quite a weekend. First up, a trip to Allandale Vet Clinic on Friday morning to meet Dr. Weisz and make sure all is well. Marshall has already gotten his first e-mail (apparently the vet can handle electronic medical records even if human doctors can't) and is on schedule for his next well visit.

Next stop was Paca and Gama's house. Those are the names that Aunt Melinda's ankle biters call Jimmy's parents. Ten minutes in to Marshall's visit Paca started bringing out the new toys. First up was this Harley Davidson bone complete with a motor sound hidden inside. It took Marshall about 15 minutes to destory this one. Seriously, destroy.

Now that he is off his pain medicine, Marshall shows more and more signs of young Beagle life each day. He sniffed every inch of the new backyard and then had to finally take a little rest.

These stairs were no match for Marshall, nor was the bed upstairs which is lower than Jimmy and Lori's so he decided he wanted to sleep with his humans.

Marshall also got his first (as far as we know) swimming lesson. He didn't exactly enjoy it, but he seemed to like the cool water and he definitely tolerated it well. Marshall was walking around on this first step before too long.

Speaking of the ankle biters, here's a nice shot of Marshall with Bethany, Trevor, John (the semi-nude one), and Aunt Melinda.
