Lazy week

Well, we had a pretty lazy week around Rockwood Lane this week. After travelling for the long weekend it was back to work for the humans and back to sleeping on the job for Marshall.

Highlights of the week include finding two new routes around the neighborhood for evening walks. Both include checking out the activity at the Pillow Elementary playground where there is always a game of soccer going on or at least a few kids in the swings to watch. Marshall continues to gain strength in his recovering left hind leg and as you can see from this shot is still pulling forward even as he nears the end of his walk.

Before taking up position back on the couch Marshall did meet both his neighbors so they can keep an eye on him while the humans are not around. We're lucky to be surrounded by folks that work from home and folks that are retired so we know Marshall is well looked after. With all the attention, sometimes he just wants to get away from it all and curl up behind a good pillow.

Have no fear, Paca, your influence is still being felt at Rockwood Lane. Marshall has enjoyed tearing up this toy since returning from your house. There isn't much left.

We all made it to the Hound Rescue garage sale this morning, where all proceeds went to the worthy cause. Marshall donated Grandma Pearson's old TV (it sold quickly) and Lori picked up a couple books for summer reading.
