Friends - Its been almost a year since we lost Scarlett to her heart worm treatment. She simply couldn't handle the treatments, either due to a reaction to the medicine or the extent of her sickness.
While we considered adopting again in the fall, it was too soon. The good folks at Hound Rescue found another dog in need of a good forever home and now that the legislative session is behind us, we felt it was time to try again. So tomorrow Lori and I will travel to San Antonio to pick up our new edition. Details will be posted soon after.
Thanks again for all the encouraging words last summer, and throughout the year.
